Folk art - 2 - clay horse

Bengal has an age old tradition of making small clay dolls. More specifically terracotta. One such famous place is Ghurni in West Bengal, near Krishnanagar. The center for the production of clay dolls of Krishnanagar. I played with them as a kid. Broke a few of them as well :) But a few years back I was interested in them for drawing. Converting the wonderful 3D dolls into 2D pictures is something of an amazing experience.
