Dotara Khamak

I grew up in North Bengal when still it was really untouched by the southern urbanization. We listened to the folk music called 'Bhawaiya' (thoughtful) and sang those rustic songs as we carelessly roamed around the villages, lakes, river and forests surrounding our little town. Although I never learned to play any of them but some instruments' tone and timber made me love them dearly.
