Benaras Ghats

Never been there. Only seen in pictures and movies and read in books. But they make a powerful impression on your mind - The ghats of Benaras. May be someday I'll visit the holy city of Varanasi and see how wrong my perception was. I painted this one with the impression of a serene and sparsely populated scene. May be reality is much different.
