Hiru dakat

Bengal was known for dacoits. In fact many places in and around Kolkata are named after famous dacoits. There are many stories about them. Some are facts and some are fiction. Some attained almost a mythical status. Some were Robinhood. Some were just dreaded looters. Some had moral code like Knights. Some had no moral at all.
There were many who fascinated me, but none so other than Hiru Dakat. The story of his exploits is rendered beautifully by Amarendra Chakraborty.
